Playtester Name: Connor Playtest Date : 9/30/20
What were your favorite moments of the game? The pacing of the game is very fun, it makes me want to play it many times in a row!
Where do you see room for improvement? Player clarity and controls. Movement, and shooting is tied to the corner of the sprite, while the image suggests that they should be rotated 45 degrees.
Having a health UI would allow us to know how close we are to dying.
When did you stop playing and why? The longest I could live was about 3.5 seconds.
Was there anything related to the interface or controls that was hard to understand? See above. Movement, and game state.
Was there anything related to the mechanics that was hard to understand? The UI image of the human in the lower left was blocking out the enemies. This made it hard to see what was killing me.
Was there anything related to the art, or sound that was hard to understand? The sound is amazing. Both the background setting and the fire sounds.
Do you have any other feedback that you would like the designer to hear? Really good state! As we discussed over zoom adjusting player movement, and shooting controls, plus adding additional UI information will take this to the next level.

The clash in experiences - extremely soothing and yet chaotic at the same time

- Making all of the backgrounds on the images transparent so they don’t overlap with eachother
- Gradually lead up to the fastest speed difficulty
- Maybe different backgrounds/stages/narrative?
When did you stop playing and why?
- When I died because of the reasons above

- The only thing that was hard to understand was what was happening visually because of the overlapping backgrounds

- Maybe the movement speed of the up and down arrows were a bit hard to control

Do you have any other feedback that you would like the designer to hear?
- I think having multiple lo-fi tracks would be awesome and really enhance the experience. Maybe even randomizing the tracks! Love this concept
